Pale Pastels and why Alyson Walsh loves them....

Bring on the Lilac: Alyson Walsh has decided to embrace muted tones this spring.

Seen here in our beautiful Tiled Protea print, drawn by our Creative Director and inspired by her trip to South Africa - Alyson Walsh recently wrote about our shirt in The Daily Telegraph. As Alyson says, pastels can be wishy-washy and drab but after trying on our pussy-bow blouse, she fell in love. The Protea print can be worn as a co-ord with our Scooby Trouser or with green combat trousers as Alyson has teamed it with.  The shirt looks fab with dark green.

The Esme is made from Recycled Polyester made from waste plastic bottles.  It's an incredible fabric and an incredible use of nasty plastic bottles bobbing away in our oceans.  We used the Twill weave which is lightweight and breathable so its very comfortable.  The tie, can be left down or worn wrapped and draping down at the back.  Its super versatile and is a two in one shirt really, as it can be worn dressed up or dressed down.  Also seen on Alex Jones on the One Show

The Tiled Protea at PHOEBE GRACE is just such a happy print and we are all about print and work really hard to bring you completely unique, bespoke designs every season.
